High Force - micromolding injection molding machines

The High Force 5 and High Force 12 are all-electric, compact injection molding machines that operate on a 120 volt single phase power source. These micromolding machines incorporate a plasticizing screw and can process standard sized natural polymer pellets. Plastic pellets can be processed with or without additives and colorants, or with pre-compounded materials.

The injection action of the High Force micromolding machines is unique in that the screw rotates to feed and plasticize the polymer past the check ring. The screw does not move forward to inject. Instead, the platens close and the barrel is pushed back over the screw by the clamp. The melted material in the nozzle is then injected into the mold. This action provides extreme accuracy and allows for easy retrofitting of monitoring equipment, such as a torque rheometer.
